Nitun Verma is
fellowship trained in sleep medicine
from Stanford University. He
collaborates with patients to feel awake
and fall asleep at the desired times in
addition to treating sleep related
disorders that can be responsible for
hypertension, heart attacks, strokes,
drowsy driving, and depression.
Born in the UK and
raised in Chicago, Dr. Verma went to the
University of Rochester (NY) for
undergrad, Tufts University (MA) for
medical school, Georgetown University
(DC) for residency, and Stanford
University (CA) for fellowship. In
fellowship he has published in the
fields of periodic leg movements and
pediatric sleep, and during residency he
researched as an associate scientist at
the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Dr. Verma is Board Certified in Adult
and Pediatric Sleep Medicine.
As a Licentiateship
member of the Royal Photographic Society
of Great Britain, his photography is
internationally published and shown.
Dr. Verma is the sleep medicine
physician at the
Washington Township Center for Sleep
Disorders.
